Seven things you might not expect a Scottish singer to say – Ross McInroy, Bass…
Ross McInroy, Bass
1 – My first principal stage role involved rapping as Tyrone in the musical Fame for an amateur musical society in Arbroath.
2 – I’m also a keen tap dancer…as a child I wanted to be Fred Astaire and marry Ginger Rodgers!
3 – On one of my first dates with Laura (my now wife and founding member of evermair) we went roller blading…
4 – I sang backing vocals for Christina Aguileara for the MTV music awards in Edinburgh. So did Laura & Marie Claire.
5 – In 1995 I won a summer swimming scholarship to Eton College, London, where I was coached by Olympic gold medalist David Wilkie and met the legend that is Kriss Akabussi.
6 – I am slightly obsessed with Minis (the original car design). As a teenager I amassed a collection of models and since passing my driving test have owned three. I still have my first car, a British racing green Mini Cooper, and a 1972 Mini 1000 which was used to display the table plan for our wedding last year.
7 – I love, love, love Nutella!
