From Saltcoats to Arbroath via Glasgow and the capital, explore our journey across Scotland below…

We all met at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama (now Royal Conservatoire of Scotland) but there is something else connecting us. A journey between our birthplaces. A journey where East meets West.

With deep associations to our Scottish roots, we originate from towns and cities spanning the Scottish Lowlands from coast to coast. Via footpath and canal, across areas of outstanding natural beauty, chart our 130 mile journey below:

– Starting at harbour town Saltcoats (birthplace of soprano Marie Claire Breen), take the Ayrshire Coastal Path northbound.

– Join the Forth and Clyde Canal eastbound via vibrant Glasgow (birthplace of mezzo-soprano Laura Kelly-McInroy).

– At the Falkirk Wheel take the Union Canal eastbound to historic Edinburgh (birthplace of tenor Warren Gillespie).

– Lastly, join the Fife Coastal Path northbound from the Forth Estuary to fishing port Arbroath (birthplace of bass Ross McInroy).
